FAQ

Questions

Who can apply?

Working and aspiring journalists, stringers, photographers, videographers and columnists aged 18 or over. Students can apply as contributors.

Is this a government press accreditation?

No. Your card identifies you as a Rational Times correspondent. Government accreditation is issued separately by the relevant authorities, and our card does not confer special legal privileges.

How long does approval take?

Usually a few working days after we receive your documents and payment. You can follow progress in your portal.

How does verification work?

Every card has a QR code and an ID number. Scanning the code or entering the number on our verification page shows whether the card is valid, expired or withdrawn — instantly.

Can my card be cancelled?

Yes. Misusing the card or breaching our Code of Conduct leads to suspension or revocation, and the public verification page changes immediately.
