Partnerships.
Editorial, academic, civic and commercial partnerships — and the rules that keep our journalism independent.
We work with organisations that share our commitment to accurate, verified information. Partnerships help us reach more readers and go deeper into stories — but they never decide what our newsroom reports.
The kinds of partnership we welcome
- Editorial partnerships with other newsrooms for joint reporting, translation and content exchange.
- Universities and researchers — data, explainers and expert input for our Learn guides and data hub.
- Media literacy — workshops and material for schools, colleges and communities on spotting misinformation.
- Events and forums — panels, debates and live coverage, clearly identified with the partner.
- Brands — through labelled sponsorships; see our media kit.
Our rules
- Independence. No partner reviews, approves or edits our journalism before publication.
- Disclosure. Partners are named on the work they support.
- No coverage for sale. A partnership never buys a story, a headline or silence.
- Conflicts declared. Where a partner is also in the news, we say so in our reporting.
Read our editorial standards and sponsored content policy.
